Our Story

CEO Bob Wilson started with an idea, that became incorporated in 2016, and finally broke ground in 2018. After two years of research, market analysis, and testing concept, FreeStand was able to launch, with a solution to a common business & insurance need.

Bob and his team discovered that while companies were used to sending their agents, sales personnel, and executives all over the country for work, their employees did not necessarily enjoy the experience, yes they had to work, but often wanted much more in these small business excursions.

The team at FreeStand Home Solutions, also discovered that when insurance policyholders experienced tragedy, they needed more. Larger homes, fenced yards, amenities that their familiar were use too. Historically, hotels and apartments were the go to placement, but with FHS entering the industry, single-family homes were now available and easier to secure than ever before.

Foundation and Future of Our Company

FreeStand Home Solutions is an insurance & corporate housing management company based in Naperville, Illinois. With a focus on insurance & business clientele, FHS seeks to change the way short-term furnished rentals and furnished housing is currently made available.

Our housing service and management system allows our clientele to enjoy above average ambience, quality, and amenities in single-family homes. Our company takes pride in going against the grain, choosing not to settle for industry standards. The term “FreeStand” signifies that our vision will be driven by independence. Our operations will chase perfection, and hold our team to a standard unseen in this industry!

As of January 2025, we have 50 properties available for use, in Illinois. By 2026, we will have successfully open Indiana, Atlanta, and Michigan markets.
